Julius Blüthner Grand Piano (1856)

10.09.2015 - This Grand was manufactured 1856. It is one of the early Instruments from the ?Julius Blüthner Pianoforte Fabrik? in Leipzig. (As you can see in the letter of authentication (photo)) Facts: Blüthner Grand Built 1856 Manufacturing -No: 1752 Length 2, 20 m Width 1, 35 m It has been refurbished and carefully restored from specialists with original factory parts. The soundboard/ tuning block and hammers were all recommissioned to restore the beautiful renowned ?Blüthner sound? known from these straight strung models. All bills are available. For its age the Grand is in reasonable condition and has been resprayed from its original colour to black, naturally there are signs of wear and tear, but all things considered this is a very beautiful, nostalgic instrument for the hobby pianist. For the purist or collector there are just a few details to be attended to too archieve a collectors item.
